The Devil and The Tower in love
An unhealthy or controlling relationship may end suddenly, or a hidden truth such as infidelity comes out. It can be devastating, and it can free you. Lean on trusted people, and avoid rushing back to what just broke apart, even when loneliness makes it tempting.
How they feel: The Devil and The Tower as feelings
Their feelings have hit a breaking point. This person may have been caught in an obsessive, secretive or unhealthy attachment, possibly to you, and something has blown it open. They may feel exposed, ashamed or suddenly free. Expect strong, unpredictable reactions while they process what happened.
The Devil and The Tower in career and money
A job or arrangement that trapped you collapses, or unethical practices are exposed. Protect yourself, keep records, and seek support. Once the shock passes, you may realize you are free to build something healthier and more open. Take legal advice if you need it.
Is The Devil with The Tower a yes or no?
The Devil and The Tower both lean no on their own, so the pair reads as a clear no. Ask your own question and see which card answers it.
What to do when The Devil and The Tower turn up
Let the collapse free you. If what bound you breaks, don't rebuild it. Use the shock as your chance to walk away and start again.
If The Devil or The Tower is reversed
Upside down, the collapse is delayed or the trap breaks with less noise. A reversed Devil means you are already loosening the chains yourself, and a reversed Tower means you may avoid the crisis by acting first. Together they offer a gentler exit. Take it before events force a harder one.
