Spiritual calendar

The next portal day is the 11:11 Portal on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Each date below has its own page with the numerology, its tarot card, a short ritual, journal prompts and a personal card worked out from your birth date.

How to use portal days

Portal days work best as a regular check-in. Six dates spread across the year give you a simple rhythm: set an intention on 1:1, check it at the Lion’s Gate in August, finish things on 9:9, start a new round on 10:10, review on 11:11 and close the year on 12:12.

Ten minutes with a notebook is enough for any of them. If you want a card for every day, try the daily arcana or a daily tarot reading. For the year as a whole, see the tarot card of the year.

Frequently asked questions

What is a portal day?

A portal day is a date where the month and day repeat the same number, such as 11/11 or 12/12. The Lion’s Gate on August 8 also borrows from the sky: it falls in the weeks when Sirius reappears at dawn and the Sun is in Leo. The idea comes from modern numerology culture, and people use these dates as fixed points for setting intentions and taking stock.

Do portal days open anything?

There is no scientific evidence that they do, and apart from the Lion’s Gate season nothing special happens in the sky. Treat them like a birthday or New Year: a date you decide to use, which can still be a useful prompt to stop and look at your life.

How do I find my personal card for a portal day?

Open any portal page and enter your birth date. It adds your arcana number to the portal number and reduces the total to a Major Arcana card, then gives you a journal prompt for the day.

When is the next portal day?
